A new generation of DC TV will come with the advent of Gotham Knights On The CW, but while the live-action series will bring a new twist on the world of Batman when it debuts this fall, fans can also expect at least one thing that’s familiar, at least compared to one of the more popular network series, supernatural. Misha Collins, who starred supernatural Like angel Castiel, he stars as Harvey Dent in Gotham Knights, and it turns out there’s a bit of overlap between the characters, at least when it comes to their wardrobes. Collins said TV inside He’s just recycling his wardrobe for the new series.
“I’m wearing a coat again,” Collins joked. “I’m wearing a blue suit and raincoat again, so we’re really upcycling the exact same wardrobe.”
The idea of the character wearing an appearance eerily similar to Castiel is one that Collins himself had previously joked about. In March, he wrote on social media that he had asked if his version of Harvey Dent could wear a beige coat over his suit, joking that he wouldn’t be comfortable in front of the camera without one – the outfit he’s been wearing for as long as Castiel. Looks like he got his wish.
Outside of the outfit, Collins also talked about the unique nature of Gotham Knights In that it uses characters from the comics as well as all new characters written specifically for the show, including Turner Hayes, Bruce Wayne’s adopted son.
“[Turner’s] Collins said, “A fugitive, but defending Gotham at the same time. He’s a reluctant hero. I think this is an exciting new experience in the Batman universe. Oscar and our other teammates will be the young, cool, new Justice League Warriors. It’s going to be awesome.”
